Join Community Health Centers of Arkansas as we hosting 5 webinars focus on HIV/AIDS Here and Now-Cultural Competence Webinars April 20 through April 24, 2020

Being 'culturally competent' means one is knowledgeable, understanding and demonstrates empathy to the plights of their neighbors in specific populations.
​
These webinars summits sessions will focus on cultural competency in HIV addressing stigma, prevention, health education, and care for minority and special populations. Each session will have a content expert with state or national ties. The goal of these webinars is to support the statewide efforts in “Ending the HIV Epidemic” focused on evidence-based strategies, and best practices in working with diverse populations related to HIV. Each webinar will last from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, with resources from a variety of local, state, and national partners.
Target Audience: Health professionals, social service providers, staff from community organizations that work with diverse populations including the HIV/AIDS population.
