Jody Cater is the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator for Baptist Health, working with 9 hospitals and over 40 other healthcare providers across Arkansas. After concurrently receiving a Chemistry degree and Paramedic license from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Jody began working in the paid EMS and volunteer fire service in central Arkansas. He also instructed for Homeland Security for seven years, focusing on Weapons of Mass Destruction. After completing a Master’s degree in Emergency Management from Jacksonville State University, Jody served as a Disaster Manager for the American Red Cross, leading in disasters at the local, state, and national levels.
