Get in the Flow! Using Work Flows to Streamline clinic Value and Efficiency
Victoria Miller, PhD, LSSBB, Quality and Performance Improvement Director, CHCA
Concurrent Session | 11:15 am - 12:35 pm | Salon A/B
Understanding organizational workflows and their value to a clinic is instrumental in improving clinic efficiency, meeting quality measures, finding new techniques to provide value based care for patients and catching those ever so sneaky $$DOLLARS$$ that fly out of clinic doors through operational “waste”. In this session, Dr. Miller will introduce the ways a clinic environment has operational “waste”, what an operational workflow is, and then dive down into how utilizing tools for workflow improvement can find those wastes. These techniques and tools will be a guide for clinic management to create initiatives after the conference, which will decrease wasted revenue and improve the value of care clinics give to their patients.
