This Presentation is designed to help Health Center Board members to identify areas within their responsibility that present significant risk to the center/and or themselves. We will explain the reasonable expectations of the board members, describe potential risks and provide suggestions on how to minimize those risks.
Thursday, September 21 - Useful Financial Benchmarks for Community Health Centers

Participants will learn how to identify relevant and useful financial benchmarks for evaluating health center performance.
After receiving his MBA from the University of Florida in 1981, Steve worked in a variety of leadership positions leading up to his position at FQHC Associates. Mr. Weinman began working at a small health center in the middle of the Everglades in the IT arena. He was promoted to CFO and grew the organization into one of the largest FQHC in the state. He retired in 2013 as Executive VP/COO. Mr. Weinman also at HRSA’s request formed and was CEO of a new start health center in Broward County and was founding CEO of the Community health Centers Alliance, a HRSA funded HCCN. Additionally during his career he worked with Aetna to develop Integral Quality Care, a statewide Medicaid MCO wholly owned by his health center. Mr. Weinman is now a partner at FQHC Associates with FQHCs, behavioral health centers and private medical practice and hospital systems as clients.
