Cultural Competency Summits 2018

Join the Arkansas Department of Health, Arkansas Minority Health Commission, and CHCA from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm as we learn best practices, share strategies, and connect with key stakeholders and content experts to develop culturally appropriate care for communities throughout Arkansas. 


Through attending these regional summits, participants will gain the necessary knowledge and skills to better serve a variety of vulnerable populations, as well as gain awareness of the best practices, intervention strategies, policies and resources available to be more effective in the provision of culturally competent care.

Why is cultural competency important to healthcare?

Scholarships to cover registration costs will be available to current Undergraduate and Graduate students. You will be asked to supply proof of enrollment once you apply.
